Between 27 and 29 April, Budakov Films took part in the Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) organised by the Erasmus+ co-funded Co.De. Project (Project No: 2023-1-ES01-KA220-SCH-000154536). The event was hosted in Piraeus by the project partner IDEC, bringing together educators and experts from across Europe.
The LTTA marked a significant milestone in the project’s implementation phase, providing an opportunity to test, validate, and refine the Co.De. training methodology in a collaborative and practice-oriented environment.
A Collaborative European Learning Environment
The training gathered over 30 educators from seven partner countries, all engaged in exploring innovative approaches to co-design in secondary education. The programme was structured to combine theoretical grounding with practical application, ensuring that participants could directly experience the tools and methodologies developed within the project. The LTTA served not only as a training session, but also as a co-creation space where feedback, peer exchange, and collaborative reflection played a central role. This approach aligns closely with the Co.De. philosophy of empowering teachers to become facilitators of participatory and student-centred learning processes.
Contribution of Budakov Films
Budakov Films was represented by a team of five educators, who played an active role throughout the training. Their contribution focused on both pedagogical delivery and technological demonstration, reflecting the organisation’s dual expertise in education and digital innovation.
Delivery of Module 8: Crowdsourcing in Education
A key highlight of Budakov Films’ participation was the delivery of Module 8: Crowdsourcing in Education. This module introduced participants to the concept of crowdsourcing as a powerful tool for collaborative knowledge creation in the classroom. The session explored how teachers can:
- Engage students in collective problem-solving processes
- Foster critical thinking and creativity through open challenges
- Leverage group intelligence to co-create learning outcomes
- Integrate digital tools to support participatory learning
The module combined structured content with interactive activities, allowing participants to experience crowdsourcing techniques in practice. Educators worked in groups, simulating classroom scenarios and applying the methodology to real educational challenges. The feedback received confirmed the relevance and applicability of the module, particularly in the context of modern, digitally enriched classrooms.
Demonstration of the Co.De. Moodle Platform
In addition to the pedagogical contribution, Budakov Films presented the project’s Moodle-based e-learning platform, which constitutes a central component of the Co.De. Toolkit. The platform was showcased as a fully developed digital environment designed to support both teachers and students in accessing and implementing the training materials.
Contemporary UI/UX Design
Particular emphasis was placed on the platform’s modern user interface and user experience design, which has been carefully developed to meet the needs of the project’s target groups.
Key features include:
- Clear and intuitive navigation structure
- Responsive design for use across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile)
- Visually structured modules with accessible learning materials
- User-friendly content organisation to support low-threshold adoption
The design approach prioritises usability and accessibility, ensuring that even users with limited experience in Moodle can effectively navigate and use the platform.
Adaptation to the Co.De. Target Audience
The platform has been specifically tailored to the requirements of secondary school teachers and students. This includes:
- Multilingual course environments for all partner countries
- Structured modules aligned with the Co.De. competence framework
- Integrated resources supporting both teaching and self-directed learning
- Simplified content management for educators
During the LTTA, participants had the opportunity to explore the platform hands-on, gaining practical insight into how it can be used in real classroom settings.
Impact and Next Steps
The LTTA in Piraeus proved to be a highly successful step in the Co.De. project, validating both the pedagogical approach and the digital tools developed by the consortium. For Budakov Films, the event reaffirmed the importance of combining innovative educational methodologies with robust and user-centred digital solutions. The strong engagement of participants and the constructive feedback received will directly inform the final refinement of the training materials and platform.
The next phase of the project will focus on piloting the Co.De. Toolkit in national contexts, where teachers will implement the modules in real classroom environments. The participation of Budakov Films in the LTTA highlighted its key role within the Co.De. consortium, contributing both educational expertise and technological development.
Through the delivery of the Crowdsourcing module and the demonstration of the Moodle platform, Budakov Films supported the project’s mission to promote co-design as a transformative approach in education. The outcomes of the LTTA confirm that the Co.De. Toolkit is well-positioned to support teachers and students across Europe in adopting more collaborative, inclusive, and innovative learning practices.
