Budakov Films is proud to share the successful completion of the FutureForward Transnational Training Course (LTTA), which took place in Valencia, Spain, from 9th to 13th June 2025. The event was hosted with great professionalism and hospitality by the University of Valencia (Universitat de València) and formed a core component of the FutureForward Erasmus+ co-funded initiative. This LTTA aimed to deepen the capacity of adult education professionals to effectively integrate Artificial Intelligence into their educational practice.

Over the course of five days, participants from across Europe engaged in a thoughtfully designed programme blending theoretical input, hands-on experimentation, pilot testing, cultural exploration, and peer learning. The training course was held at the Teacher Training Faculty (Facultat de Magisteri), with several complementary external activities highlighting the local culture and heritage.

Highlights from the Programme

Day 1 opened with a warm welcome and a pre-training evaluation session to align expectations. The first keynote presentation focused on the evolving needs and challenges in AI education for adult learners, setting the tone for the rest of the week. A unique cultural component followed in the afternoon: a literary walking tour through the historical center of Valencia, which creatively used AI to enhance the experience and connect participants to local stories, poetry, and urban heritage.

The second day marked the transition to an intensive practical focus. Led by Hermes from the University of Valencia, participants took part in a hands-on workshop on the pedagogical application of AI tools in adult learning contexts. The session was split into two key parts: the first dedicated to methodological principles, and the second to exploring a range of tools and platforms that could be adapted to diverse educational settings. This day was particularly valued for its clarity, accessibility, and practical relevance.

The third day of the activity was dedicated to testing and evaluation. Participants had the opportunity to engage in the pilot testing of the FutureForward Trainer Platform, an innovative digital tool designed to support trainers in embedding AI into adult education. This was followed by an extensive feedback and evaluation process using questionnaires and post-assessment tools. The day concluded with a networking farewell dinner at ENTREVINS restaurant in the city centre, which provided a relaxed and elegant environment for reflection and community-building.

The LTTA was closed on June 13th, Friday with the final knowledge assessment and a certificate ceremony. As a final group activity, the participants took part in a guided boat tour through Albufera Lake, with an informative session on the region’s flora and fauna. This final experience provided a symbolic reminder of the project’s environmental values and the importance of sustainable learning practices.

The success of the training course lies not only in the knowledge shared but in the spirit of collaboration and mutual inspiration it fostered among the participants. Budakov Films, as part of the FutureForward consortium, remains committed to promoting inclusive, forward-thinking approaches to digital education, particularly in the use of AI for adult learners.

We extend our sincere thanks to the University of Valencia for their outstanding organisation and to all partners and participants for their contributions to a meaningful and future-oriented learning experience.
