On April 24th, 2025, Budakov Films had the distinct pleasure of hosting the FutureForward Multiplier Event in Sofia, Bulgaria, as part of the Erasmus+ co-funded project ‘FutureForward’ (Project No: 2024-1-IT02-KA220-ADU-000253630). This dynamic gathering brought together more than 30 participants from across sectors, including adult educators, trainers, digital innovation specialists, community leaders, and policy influencers, demonstrating a strong representation of our project’s diverse target audience.
The event focused on a critical theme: the integration of artificial intelligence and digital literacy into adult education, aligning with European Union values on fostering accessible, ethical, and inclusive technological development. Throughout the day, participants engaged in presentations, demonstrations, and discussions designed to showcase the FutureForward project’s innovative contributions to the field.

The event opened with a keynote session by Dr. Yordan Karapenchev, Chief Assistant Professor at Sofia University, who presented “The Role of Digital Literacy and AI in Adult Education.” His insights emphasized the urgent need to prepare adult learners for the digital transformation, highlighting key skills and critical approaches to the use of AI in learning environments.
Following this, participants were introduced to the overarching goals and vision of the FutureForward project, setting the stage for a closer look at the practical outcomes achieved so far.
Boris Baev, Founder of IGS Bulgaria, then delivered an engaging demonstration of the FutureForward Trainer Platform. He showcased how this new digital tool empowers adult educators to integrate AI and digital competencies into their training programs effectively, offering hands-on functionality combined with accessibility and user-centered design.
Prof. Dr. Petyo Budakov, Founder of Budakov Films, guided the participants through practical strategies for applying the Trainer Platform within real-world adult education settings. His session offered actionable insights on how trainers can adapt and innovate their teaching practices by leveraging the platform’s resources.
The final presentation, led by Keti Tserovska, M.A., Product Designer at Market Logic AG, introduced the FutureForward Community of Practice. She emphasized the importance of building a sustainable network of professionals committed to advancing innovation, collaboration, and best practices in adult learning and digital integration.
