On September 18th, 2025, Budakov Films participated in the Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) of the AI Creatives Erasmus+ co-funded project, hosted by B.Real (Future Innovation Labs) in Lisbon, Portugal. The meeting brought together project partners from Spain (MindLeap), Portugal (Future Innovation Labs), and Bulgaria (Budakov Films Ltd.) for a full day of collaborative discussions, progress review, and forward planning.

The TPM was designed to ensure that all partners remain aligned on the project’s objectives, progress, and final steps as the consortium moves into the concluding phase of AI Creatives. The agenda reflected the project’s comprehensive approach to promoting creativity, innovation, and responsible integration of Artificial Intelligence in the creative industries.

Meeting Highlights

The session began with a welcome and clarification of meeting objectives, followed by a thorough review of project management, dissemination activities, quality assurance, current status, and key milestones. Each partner then presented updates on their responsibilities and contributions:

  • Budakov Films presented progress on Activity 1: the Creative AI Strategy Handbook, which provides professionals, educators, and creatives with practical guidance for integrating AI tools while preserving and enhancing critical creative skills.
  • MindLeap (Spain) showcased developments in Activity 2: Creative Mastery Workshops and Training Video Development, aimed at strengthening digital and creative competences through targeted learning activities.
  • Future Innovation Labs (Portugal) outlined achievements within Activity 3: Practical Implementation and Community Outreach, which ensures that project outputs are tested, contextualized, and widely disseminated across communities of practice.

Further discussions focused on communication, dissemination, and the broader impact of the project, ensuring a unified strategy for visibility and outreach. A dedicated session also addressed sustainability, with partners agreeing on measures to secure long-term relevance and applicability of the project’s results beyond the official funding period.

The consortium also worked intensively on final project results, financial and administrative reporting, and established clear next steps along with an updated timeline to ensure smooth completion of all deliverables.

Key Outcomes

The Lisbon TPM was highly productive and set a clear direction for the months ahead. The main outcomes included:

  • Agreement on a final roadmap for project deliverables, ensuring that all intellectual outputs are completed with quality and on time.
  • Reinforcement of collaborative efforts among partners, enabling stronger alignment across national contexts.
  • Development of a shared strategy for the upcoming Multiplier Events, which will play a critical role in disseminating project results to wider audiences, including educators, creative professionals, and policymakers.
  • Consolidation of sustainability strategies, guaranteeing that the project’s impact extends beyond its formal conclusion.
